里昂（法语：Lyon），是仅次于巴黎的法国第二大都市区。里昂老法庭位于索恩河（法语：Saône) 的右岸里昂老城区。老城西面背倚的富维耶山又称为“祷告山”，山上有富维耶圣母院（法语：Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière）、几个修女院、大主教府、富维耶铁塔和缆车。
里昂老法庭建于1835年~1842年，建筑师为路易斯 - 皮埃尔·Baltard (Louis-Pierre Baltard)。(http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/里昂)
